RE: CALL FOR PAPERS AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE NIPR – NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF TIME TO 31ST JANUARY, 2020

About the 14th of November, 2019 the Institute invited applications for suitably qualified members to apply for elevation to the status of Fellow. The notice specified the following conditions to candidates:

  1. Submit A 25-page academic/professional paper on A-4 sized page in double line spacing;

  2. Be in good financial standing and must have spent at least 10 years on the member grade;

  3. Complete the application form and submit with evidence of payment of the application fee of N50,000, paid into the Institute’s Union Bank Plc account number 0005794220.

Furthermore, candidates were given a deadline of 30th November, 2019 to submit duly completed application forms and relevant attachments.

After due consideration of the number of applications received and other factors, the Fellowship Advisory Committee has decided to extend to 31st January, 2020 the deadline for submission of applications for Fellowship of the NIPR.

Applicants are advised to acquaint themselves with the conditions for election of Fellows into the NIPR in Bye-Law No 4 of 2019 on the NIPR website, www.nipr.org.ng as well as sections 4 (D) and 5 of The Professional Standards Guide of the Institute, specifying the subjects and format of Fellowship papers.

Following this extension, candidates that might not have complied with the preceding paragraph four above are at liberty to substitute their earlier submissions with updated papers within the new deadline.

Please note that the dates and venues for candidates to make oral presentation of their papers will be announced after the 31st of January, 2020.

Thank you.
